Speech-Language Therapist - School Setting North Coast Therapy Associates
Job Types: 2-5 days
Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate

Our team of dedicated therapists work collaboratively with educators, families and other professionals to provide evidence-based, individualized and comprehensive support, thus ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Job Description: We currently have Full time and Part time positions available from 2-5 days. As a school-based SLP, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech therapy services within an educational setting. You will be responsible for evaluating children across different grade levels, planning interventions, and developing instructional plans tailored to meet their specific functional and educational needs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload Document, monitor, analyze, and report students' progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures. Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings within Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs) Write educationally relevant therapy goals and relevant student background information within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) Attend and report evaluations findings and therapy recommendations in family-friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings. Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school personnel and families. Maintain documentation of ongoing therapy minutes and report due-dates. Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures. Requirements: Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire) Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school or educational setting is preferred. Strong assessment and intervention planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Passion for working with children and helping them overcome developmental, educational, and motor challenges. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy.
