Spine Neurosurgeon Opportunity In Central Michigan - Well Established Practice

Seeking BE/BC Spine Neurosurgeon to join a well-established practice, with dedicated neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers!

The right candidate will assume the practice of a retiring physician to continue to serve a community need. Our team is interested in an outstanding, motivated candidate focused on comprehensive and reconstructive spinal care.

This position provides an opportunity to expand depth and breadth of spine services.Surgical volume consists of routine and complex spine cases.The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call.Call is on average 1:4.Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities.Complex, reconstructive and routine spine casesNeuro/Trauma call is requiredTravel to off-site neuro clinic as neededClinical research trialsAcademic faculty appointment availableThe region's only certified Comprehensive Stroke CenterDedicated neuro-intensive care unit and neuro-progressive care units staffed with Certified Neuro Registered Nurses.Dedicated and specially trained neurosurgeons, neurologists and neurointerventionalists.Dedicated neurosurgery operating rooms.
Requirements:
Successful completion of an ACGME approved residencyCertification by the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery or equivalent board in another country which is recognized by the American Board of SurgeryActive State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
