Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am 3:00 pm (occasional Saturdays) Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spot/Metal Welder with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal parts, welding small pieces together, and performing fabrication tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards to ensure precision and reliability in all welded components.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform spot welding, MIG, and other metal welding techniques to assemble and join metal parts as per blueprints, diagrams, or project specifications. Fabricate and assemble metal components for various projects, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Set up and adjust welding equipment to ensure optimal performance for different tasks. Inspect workpieces for defects, ensuring they meet dimensional and cosmetic quality standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding machinery to cut, shape, and form metals as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols. Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion and accuracy. Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment as needed. Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or discrepancies promptly. Perform other welding or fabrication tasks as required.Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience in spot welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and other metal fabrication techniques. Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Strong knowledge of welding materials, processes, and safety standards. Ability to work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
