This Senior Account Manager will support our Macy's, Belk, and Nexcom accounts. This position entails leading day-to-day operations and strategic planning for sales, marketing, inventory management, visual merchandising, in-store fixtures, and logistics. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Director or Director of the Retail Account.
Responsibilities: Develop strategy for new launches: forecast pipe, initial sell-through, and annual sell-through for all NewnessStrategic Planning3-Year Plan to drive salesKey business strategies such as Conversion and StaffingIn Store visuals and fixture evolutionInventory ManagementWork with Account Manager and Sr Account Director/Account Director to ensure the following is being executed:
Monitoring incoming EDI orders to ensure proper opening orders per allocation and shipping dates.Conduct regular productivity analysis of merchandising strategyPartner with Visual Merchandising Dept. for merchandising updates to maximize profitability. Provide sales data to complement the merchandising strategy and validate the efficacy of proposed updatesBudget ManagementTake the lead in the Budget process in collaboration with the Sr. Director or Director of the AccountProvide summary analysis for key G/L lines for presentation to managementTrack monthly expenses vs. budget, be able to project out full year expensesTake the lead in monthly P&L review with managementReports and AnalysisWeekly/monthly sales reporting and analysis to account and field teams such as Weekly Best Seller by sku, Topline Sales Results, sku Penetration % and Monthly Ranking by doorQualifications: Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office particularly ExcelCollege graduate or equivalent experienceMinimum 4 years in retail planning or merchandising roleExperience with Budgets or Income Statement preferredSchedule:
Hybrid - requires onsite presence weeklyThe target salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
