GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Plan Achievement Sr. Analyst will own a diverse range of assignments, projects and analytics to support preseason and in-season allocation strategies and initiatives for both the Ross and dd's brands.
The Sr. Analyst will take a proactive approach to identify opportunities to execute more effective allocations at multiple levels of the hierarchy.
This role will evaluate overall sales performance and emerging trends to recommend action for in-month receipt management.
They will independently translate strategic allocation goals into recommendations for gaining consensus with leadership.
This role will include ad hoc analysis and forecasting to support current initiatives as well as future growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently to provide sound analytics, with a comfort for drawing, summarizing and communicating conclusions and necessary recommendations.

Analysts are experienced professionals, having wide range experience and business-specific expertise.
Sr. Analysts must exercise high judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
They communicate with senior internal and external personnel both within and potentially outside their own area of expertise (team specific).
Sr. Analysts work on complex and often cross-functional work, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in efficient ways.
In this role Sr. Analysts also act as subject matter experts and can support training efforts.


The base salary range for this role is $75,700 - $113,650.
The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location.
The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards vary by position and location.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Analytics of Sales, Inventory and Receipt Management Monitor region, division, and/or store inventory position in relation to sales trends. Lead weekly business meeting to communicate results and inventory opportunities/risks to leadership, providing recommended action needed to support changing trends. Work with the NY Planning team to review in-month receipt management and preseason opportunities and ensure receipt strategy changes are executed through partnership with Plan Achievement team.
Build tools needed to evaluate performance and project forward looking trends. Assess department reports for accuracy, and review to identify opportunities for improved execution. Manage store callouts and perform ad hoc analysis as needed. Support Analysts in reviewing/assessing business results and teaching new concepts. Communication Drive timely and effective communication with internal and external business partners to inform/recommend allocation strategies and results.
Provide weekly communication to Allocation leadership of results and inventory opportunities/risks, providing recommended action needed to support changing trends. Communicate conclusions and recommendations in a clear, straight forward, and concise format to diverse audiences. Independently develop compelling materials and provide business insights on allocation goals and strategies to direct manager and senior business partners.

Pivot Tables, SumProduct, If Error, H-lookup, arrays, etc.

Complex retail math calculations Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group - executives, managers, and subject matter experts within and outside of the Allocation team.
Ability to independently analyze complex data sets to solve problem and summarize recommendations Packaging Results utilizing PowerPoint Retail software experience, a plus (JDA or Other Allocation Software) Supervisory experience is a plus Retail Math PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/A DA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.


For hybrid: This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
