Location: Chicago, IL Hospital: RUSH University Medical Center Department: Enterprise Platforms Work Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0.9 and 1.0) Shift: Shift 1 Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:30:00 AM - 5:00:00 AM) Summary: This position develops, installs, maintains, and modifies application programs, business application programs, or integrated programs.
Identifies and analyzes user requirements and recommends appropriate applications or modifications.
Analyzes, interprets, and documents requirements for complex business problems and recommends comprehensive technology and high-light any data gaps during initial phase of project.
Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Other information: Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
Additional relevant experience can be used in Lieu of Bachelors degree.
5 years of system analysis and/or application support experience.
Expressed desire and ability to provide solutions, training and end-user support for MS Teams, MS Forms, 365 Copilot, Teams Apps, SharePoint Online and Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
Experience with application configuration tools.
Experience evaluating and interpreting end user information requirements, and to developing appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
Experience recording, tracking, corresponding, and documenting resolution of user problems by means of problem reporting database software.
Ability to develop technical documentation for training, software/hardware use, user procedures, and as-required project deliverables.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications: Expertise with SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, PowerShell, Microsoft Teams, T-SQL, Visual Studio, .Net, C#.

Responsibilities: Develop, test, implement, and maintain information systems utilizing the Microsoft Platform of applications.
Train end users on how to use the Microsoft Platform of applications with a focus on MS Teams; MS Forms; 365 Copilot; SharePoint online; OneDrive.
Create and configure new SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, and forms.
Provide problem-solving expertise and analysis to design, build, and document workflows using Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
Administer SharePoint, monitor and report on overall usage, and ensure high availability and security of SharePoint and related systems (both OnPrem and Cloud).
Perform ad-hoc testing of custom or third-party software and follow company guidelines for programming and documentation.
Regular 24x7 support rotation which includes processing of tickets assigned to the team via ServiceNow as well as requests sent directly to the team and on-call support.
Cross-train more junior members on the team to increase their skillset in the M365 environment.
Command of a functional grouping of modules and their inter working relationships with other modules.
Able to provide recommendations and solutions to issues requiring understanding of multiple functional disciplines.
Participates and leads requirements analysis sessions.
Able to develop design specifications for reports, application configuration and make business process design recommendations.
Participates and leads in process workflow sessions and develop workflow maps.
Able to perform quality review on team members' design artifacts.
Investigates user problems and needs, identifies their source, performs troubleshooting and problem solving, and determines possible solutions.
Analyzes user project proposals to include identifying potential problem areas and recommends optimum approaches for project path.
Identifies tasks and levels of effort for the implementation of solutions.
Leads system unit testing, integration testing and regression testing for enhancements, new functionality and upgrades.
Reports project activity and status to management.
Identifies, resolves and escalates project and operational issues.
Provides information to Education content developers as needed to support training activities Able to provide instruction to end-users and conduct educational events.
Coordinates with Vendors on the implementation or support of their products.
