Position Summary This Senior IAM Cloud Engineer position will research and create Entra ID and Google Cloud Identity platform designs and cloud IAM reference architectures, as well as implement self-service IAM platforms that enable product teams to consume services through the use of Entra ID. The appropriate candidate will have experience in all facets of Identity & Access and will be able to describe how traditional on-premise patterns can be moved to modern, cloud-native architectures. The Senior IAM Cloud Engineer will work closely with the Principal IAM Cloud Engineer, Security Architecture, Cloud Adoption and Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Development Architecture, Business Partners, and Vendors.
Responsibilities Work with the team to contribute, plan, and prioritize backlog of IAM cloud design patterns, new features, and updates that enable and support HCA's cloud IAM strategy. Ability to design, develop, and test new software systems and/or applications. Create architectural and procedural documentation that outline the application of process or products defined by Cloud Governance. Work collaboratively with domain architects, and business teams to define common uses of cloud IAM through proof of concept and defined business cases, helping educate teams and advocating the secure use of cloud IAM services. Strong understanding of object-oriented programing, familiarity with functional programing is a plus. Strong understanding of best practices in the use of REST-based APIs. Experience with agile methodology. Experience with version control (Git), open source practices and CI/CD automation. Establishes and maintains solid business relationships. Work closely with product teams to guide them through re-architecting applications to cloud native, distributed architectures. Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement." Training and mentoring of peers and other staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Must have experience with GCP or AWS cloud services. Expert experience in core IAM technologies (federation, directory services, MFA, etc). Expert experience in Terraform, JSON and YML or other Infrastructure as Code. Strong Communication and Documentation abilities.
