Sr. Controls Engineer

DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Manufacturing Conglomerate Company who is looking to expand its team with a Sr. Controls Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for planning, designing and supervising installation of electrical industrial controls equipment while leading engineering projects.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities: Lead capital projects in tandem with the Maintenance TeamProgramming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems including PLC's, HMI's, robotics, drives and computers.Lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action methodologiesPerforms general electrical troubleshooting and downtime support to maintenance and operations teamsInstall, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipmentDesign Manufacturing Automation and Process Control Systems, including software and graphical (HMI) solutions.Maintain and optimize manufacturing controls infrastructure, and softwareTroubleshoot production and maintenance issues, offering innovative solutions to improve processesThe Sr. Controls Engineer should have the following qualifications B.S Engineering (Required)Minimum of 5 years engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing settingExperienced with Siemens PLC programming and troubleshootingExperience with Fanuc or KUKA robotics a plus
