Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with data management in gathering data from multiple sources and consolidating them into a single centralized location and transforming the data with business logic in a consumable manner for visualization and data analysis
- Experience bringing in new data sources and building it into DataMart along with automation around that
- Knowledge of Risk Fabric
- Technical expertise: Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and related Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Python and SQL skills for data processing and automation
- Experience with extract, transfer, load (ETL) processes and data pipeline design using SQL
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Insight Global is looking for Senior Data Engineers to support one of our enterprise financial services customers to build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to serve their cyber security data mart customers. These individuals will work closely with their cross functional teams to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability. To be successful in the role, we are looking for candidates with expertise in Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Python, and SQL to develop effective data solutions that support their security analytics and reporting efforts. Responsibilities will include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer
- Developing and optimizing SQL queries to support data extractions, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Implementing best practices for data quality, data governance, and data security
- Collaborating with cross functional teams including business customers and SMEs to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
