Imagine 360 is currently seeking a Sr Data Architect to join our team! We are looking for a passionate Senior Data Engineer to help optimize the value delivered by our Data Architecture and Services team. In this role, you will be expected to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. You will be responsible for conducting full data lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis, ETL and data integration architecture, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Position Location: 100% remote Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Craft and execute data management, architecture, integration, and governance strategies.Support development and implementation of business applications that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.Collaborate with business partners to transform business requirements into environment-specific ETL, data integration, reporting, and data validation designs; work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.Provide technical leadership for architecture, design, documentation, and maintenance of databases and related systems.Support your team and peers through collaborative coding, design sessions, and peer code review.Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.Develop enterprise data dictionary and define data standards; maintain detailed and current data warehouse system documentation; define and document internal/external data flows.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.Monitor daily operations of data loads and identify data discrepancies, data quality issues, and work to ensure data consistency and integrity.DBA-like responsibilities:Create database storage structures.Resolve database issues.Maintain system security.Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.Balance simultaneous initiatives with varying priorities. Required Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree in a Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college or university5+ years of data services experience. 8+ years business experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Technical expertise with data modeling, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.Strong ETL & data integration development experience using SSIS and ADF (or similar), and data warehouse architecture techniques.Team experience, including working closely with business professionals as well as technical resources and acting as a bridge between the two groups including liaison with vendors.Experience in optimizing, loading, and processing large datasets from different data sources and formats, including APIs.Experience migrating existing ETL environments to ADF and consolidating multiple projects to eliminate redundancy and reduce interdependencies.Comfortable navigating and working in production environments.Experience using CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.Proven experience in developing creative solutions to technology challenges.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Working knowledge of and experience with databases (Microsoft SQL), programming (JSON, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).Understanding of best practices around database encryption, backup, and recovery.Strong documentation skills (e.g., requirements, test scripts, project status, management presentations, etc.).Adept at query development, report writing, and presenting findings.Ability to work individually as well as in a small team setting.Experience working with Azure DevOps and Agile development methodology.Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, or equivalent tools.Enterprise Systems - Salesforce.com, ERP (SAP, Dynamics) and SharePoint.Related Big Data experience (NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Clusters, etc. both on/off premise).Healthcare industry/HIPAA regulated data environment.Experience with business intelligence solutions (Power BI, Tableau).
