What you'll do: Responsible for drafting new and updating existing TTD policies, voicing an initial perspective on TTD's stance on pertinent topicsWork with cross functional teams to create, modify, and ratify policy and enforcement requirements (inclusive of product and platform changes). Cross functional teams could include – legal, product, commercial, and operationsResponsible for all internal and external communication for new and updated policiesLead creation of external messaging regarding policy in conjunction with legal and product marketingAttend policy training meetings with all levels in the internal organization as the subject matter expert on all policiesDrive working groups toward consensus and action, especially when diverse and differing opinions are involvedGain a deep understanding of global consumer data privacy laws and how they relate to adtech and TTD's businessWho you are: We are looking for a commercially savvy, strategically orientated person who understands the globallandscape, and how our product is built to comply with local laws and expectations. You are able to present, and serve as a subject matter expert in front of internal cross functional teams and leaders. You are happy leading projects across multiple stakeholders and are comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel. Qualifications: Strong writer who has synthesized detailed information into concise principled statementsA proven track record in cross-functional team management, driving to results without direct management of those teamsHas held a product or high-level project / program management role in complex environments/ tech companies.Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roleExperience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationshipsProven track record of exceeding expectationsIs energized when faced with ambiguity and uncertaintyBS/BA Degree#LI-JS1 The Trade Desk does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters.
