Sr Design and Innovation Strategist
Design for a category leading technology product in a growing healthcare space. Conduct design research and design future experience concepts for healthcare workflow products. Work with an innovative, collaborative team where you will be involved in the creation of products that will revolutionize healthcare.
In this role you will work on design for the end-to-end service experience with a human centered approach. You will conduct design research of complex systems and help reimagine the future of medical workflows. Most importantly, you will be a part of a team which will discover opportunities for innovation and support strategic direction.
Description
Discovery and growth
• Conduct research and guide product design from a human centered perspective with a focus on ensuring intuitive and safe interactions for products that will revolutionize healthcare
• Create frameworks for understanding to use in workshops and share-outs
Product and Experience Design
• Conduct generative design research for innovative products with contextual inquiry and ethnographic research to define products
• Help with discovery of where and why to apply Ai in the workflow as well as machine learning, voice interfaces or AR
• Provide experience design and research to projects, and ensure quality outputs.
• Surface themes and help create design principles that impact the ongoing product
• Design and run usability evaluations and create reports and other artifacts to support communication of findings
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists and client teams to ensure product success
Customer Experience
• Develop ongoing relationships with key customers to encourage 360 view of customer needs with regular touchpoints.
• Create and help facilitate workshops including participatory design with customers, as well as internal teams
• Design the future end to end experience for customers
• Help craft the ecosystem to support a technology enabled future
Workflow Transformation (AI+Human)
• Explore the future possibilities of AI applications in the workflow
• Apply good human computer interaction principles across the end-to-end journey
• Uncover opportunities for AI and other technologies to transform the future design
Brand Personality
• Participate in the design of Provation's brand personality and design to reflect an innovative, energetic, and bold business.
• Design brand's visual identity, from the product itself all the way to the marketing and merchandising activities that bring a brand to life across different platforms
Service Design
• Be a part of a team that takes on important challenges, designs elegant systems, supports each other, and enjoys the journey.
• Help with ability to think strategically and share with organization
Requirements
• 5-7 years' work experience planning and conducting design research, human factors/usability evaluation, skills digital interaction design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in cognitive science, design research, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or similar field
• Human-centered problem-solving skills
• Design capabilities will cover both strategic design and detailed design.
• Ability to empathize with the users and engage diverse teams including designers and engineers across multiple sites
• Experience in strategic research with evidence of significant business outcomes
• Excellent analysis, written and verbal communication skills as well as storytelling capability
• Proactive results-oriented, positive, energetic and self-motivated
• Experience in the healthcare space
• Translating insights into a cohesive story with frameworks to support understanding.
• UX Design skills using tools such as Figma, Notion, Dovetail, Adobe CC suite, XD, Miro
Nice to have
• Manage holistic designs with consideration for user engagement in digital and physical interfaces Although this is a digital product company the users engage with physical products also.
• HFE for medical experience
• Brand design graphic design
