Must be a US Citizen - Must pass a drug screening Responsibilities: Administering and problem-solving issues on multiple Linux platforms (RHEL and CENTOS)Automating Linux services by writing scripts and cron tasks Recording processes and Automation for cloud servicesStreamlining and monitoring appropriate services in AWS and Azure for processing, networking, storage, security and other resourcesManage, organize, and prioritize help desk tickets as they come up and solve technical issues rapidly for enterprise deploymentsWork in development and production environments with config management (GIT), including detailed documentation.Clear and effective communication with the development, operations and management teamsHandle multiple tasks and work independently as well as a team memberLead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience working in AWSThree (3) years Linux System Admin experience including scripting, security, and networkingExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to logically think through problem situationsKnowledge of standard Linux configurations including security (SE Linux), network (iptables desired), file system partitioning, general application performance tuning,Strong knowledge of design, implementation, and support of networked systems and technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, file servers, DNS, and LDAPExperience architecting and supporting highly available and highly scalableinfrastructureExperience with docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Spacewalk (a plus) for embedded systems and cloud solutionsSolutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on creativity and relationshipsProcess orientation, capable of creating new processes, or significantly redesigning existing processes to align with hanging business requirementsStrong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrating the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topicsComfortable with a high degree of ambiguityAbility to work in a team environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skillsCandidate must possess, or be eligible for US Government Security clearanceExperience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) a plusBenefits:
