Job Description Summary: We're looking for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the global consumer marketing strategy for our complete consumer product portfolio, including our core payments, loyalty & rewards, financial services, credit, and peer-to-peer payments business lines.
What You'll Do Maintain a deep understanding of our consumer product ecosystem globally and how it all comes together, allowing you to build strategic narratives that answer "Why PayPal?"
Define audience, global positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies that enable marketing, comms, and partner teams to grow awareness, consideration, and usage.
Own the end-to-end view of how our products are performing across marketing channels globally, identifying areas for optimization and new growth.
Develop marketing and GTM strategies that drive consumer portfolio growth and deliver against our consumer segment KPIs through the full funnel, partnering closely with global marketing and commercial leaders to create plans that are locally relevant, grounded in our business strategy, and informed by consumer and market insights.
Collaborate with Product/Design/Eng/Market Research to influence product roadmaps and experiences with the goal of increasing product adoption, differentiation, and customer growth.
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs, and act as voice of the customer at all stages of the product lifecycle.
Establish strong relationships with Product, Analytics, Commercial Growth, Comms, Lifecycle Marketing, Geo Marketing, Creative & Media, and other cross-functional groups to enable collaboration and communication across groups.
Lead and grow a team of exceptional Product Marketers, fostering an environment of fearlessness and dedication to excellence.
What You'll Bring 10-15 years experience in global product marketing and go-to-market strategy
Equal parts strategy and creativity, with the ability to seamlessly translate our business objectives, product strategies, and insights into global marketing plans that drive portfolio and business growth.
Strategic thinker and experienced operator: Proven ability to both identify opportunities in the market and drive action to pursue those opportunities
Passion for customer-centric strategy, with experience in generating qualitative and quantitative insights and using those insights to inform marketing strategies, product experiences and value propositions.
The ability to distill complex information and strategies into understandable, actionable, persuasive messages and strategies.
Establish a culture where Product Marketing is the voice of the customer and building that credibility with Product and Commercial teams.
Strong leadership presence and ability to influence, inspire, and motivate up, down, and horizontally across business.
Knowledge of the FinTech ecosystem and the key players within the market
