Responsibilities Develop and implement business development strategies that allow Lilly to build and advance a portfolio of preclinical and clinical opportunities using Lilly's discovery, development, and clinical capabilities;Lead Innovation Solutions transaction teams in executing corporate business development transactions, including but not limited to in-licensing, out-licensing, collaborations, direct equity, and venture capital agreements;Influence management, stakeholders and external partners on key decisions, including identifying opportunities for accessing new technologies, processes, products/molecules geographies, or businesses;Identify long and short-term strategic partner, competitive, and environmental trends;Create and foster strategic relationships with key external innovators to identify and anticipate opportunities for growth globally;Provide expertise to identify, prevent, and solve complex problems with significant impact on Lilly's business and the business of our external business partnersBasic Requirements Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical business development, including licensing, collaboration, equity transactions, and M&A on a global scaleQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
