We recognize the dignity and strength of every individual, family, community and culture. Job Summary: The Senior Director of CFS Strategic Initiatives reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Child and Family Services and serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
The position provides senior management support for the integrated work of Child & Family Services.
Lead change initiatives that are crucial for strategic alignment and team cohesion.
Lead large, cross-functional projects and initiatives spanning across Child & Family Services.Prioritize Child & Family Services initiatives within the organization's strategic goals.
Identify areas of improvement, addressing core issues and recommending actionable solutions.Serve as a strategic thought partner and lead efforts that transform ideas into tangible outcomes.Partner with a diverse group of team members to ensure that projects stay on track and are aligned.
Act as a liaison between various departments of Child & Family Services and other relevant work units to achieve common objectives.Research, benchmark, and analyze data.
Organize and condense information to make informed recommendations that lead projects to success.Lead, plan, and coordinate leadership and other relevant meetings.
Capture key decisions, clarify plans, and consistently follow up on action items.
Keep meetings centered on advancing the work.Manage the cadence and preparation for board meetings, ensuring materials are gathered, accurately prepared, and submitted in advance.Improve overall team efficiency by facilitating communication and collaboration among members.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Business, or related degree preferred.
Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 10 years equivalent relative work experience required.Demonstrated skills in integrating initiatives across work units; project managing cross-functional projects; and partnering with senior management in a variety of functional areas.Demonstrated high level of organizational skills including the capacity to set priorities and work to deadlines.
Organization and time management skills are critical, with particular emphasis on attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
The ability to work independently and balance multiple ongoing tasks; and the ability to coordinate among multiple work units required.Experience solving urgent problems at a strategic level and attending to operational details.
Must be adept at resolving issues that arise by finding and implementing solutions.
Ability to lead proactively and anticipate needs.Proven track record of communication at all levels of an organization.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills required.
Ability to clearly communicate messages to a variety of audiences and determine the effectiveness of the communications.A balance of assertiveness and diplomacy is critical.
The ability to influence and lead without direct management responsibilities.Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects; ability to type and work at a computer for extended periods of time as a primary job function.Ability to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information by learning and following all relevant policies and protocols and using sound judgment in the handling and sharing of that information.Driving on Casey business may require use of personal vehicle; adherence to vehicle safety guidelines and qualification for insurance is required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.This position is based at our Seattle, Washington Headquarters office.
New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary range between the minimum and the midpoint salary range, $157,760 to $185,600.
Placement in the range will depend on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
Casey Family Programs offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 10 paid holidays per year and each employee receives one personal holiday to use each calendar year.
Employees that meet certain tenure qualifiers are eligible for up to eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or placement of a child for adoption or foster care.
After the completion of 10 years of continuous, full-time regular employment, employees in good standing are permitted for a three-month sabbatical with pay.
