We are looking for a Senior Director, EPC Programs to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the VP, Customer Installations Group and be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate and select EPC's in line with the current and anticipated future needs of the Bloom Installations business. Provide ongoing negotiation of costs, operational performance, terms & conditions of our EPC's. Implement robust cost reduction tracking methodologies and design/construct/product feedback to continuously improve our Installations Cost and Quality. Develop partnership relations with EPC's and pursue new business opportunities for Bloom Energy. Provide strong management of the CIG supply base to ensure that business needs for schedule, costs, flexibility and technology needs are met or exceeded. Ensure compliance by establishing and clearly communicating the design, safety, and quality requirements to EPC suppliers. Ensure that CIG installation timelines are supported with capacity and timely acceptances. Evaluate and drive with the CIG leadership team further actions as appropriate where there is competitive advantage for Bloom. Lead the EPC program to drive efficiencies and migrate the team from lower value activities to higher value added activities such as New Program technologies for Installations. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree required, engineering background required. 15+ years in a senior procurement role preferably in heavy industry. Demonstrated success in Managing EPCs in the Energy Sector. Technical skills to enable identification and qualification of multiple EPC's. Demonstrated ability to drive and coordinate international construction activities. In-depth negotiation experience and the ability to meet cost targets is required. Strong analytical and technical skills are key. Must have the ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships across the company and with suppliers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with MRP/ERP systems. Ability to excel in a complex and fast paced environment. Must be self-motivated with high energy level and a strong work ethic. Organizational leadership skills; aggressiveness in achieving results, yet sensitivity to the need for communicating effectively with other members of the team. Salary Ranges: $228,000.00 - $328,000.00
