We are looking for a senior, seasoned pricing and monetization expert with a solid foundation in SaaS/data propositions. This role, reporting to the VP of Marketing & GTM, will provide critical leadership for creating and delivering a monetization strategy for Truveta across product, GTM, and sales; establishing a differentiated and scalable approach for packaging and pricing all Truveta products and services; creating processes to manage deal desk requests and support a growing sales team; and ultimately driving growth for Truveta. The best person for this role has a deep understanding of pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies developed via extensive experience for SaaS/Data solutions, with an understanding of how monetization strategies can create an ecosystem of growth.
This Opportunity The Director/Sr. Director of pricing and monetization will partner closely with several teams within Truveta, including product marketing, partner (sales), product, and finance, to drive the monetization, pricing, and packaging strategy to scale growth for Truveta.
Responsibilities include: Drive a programmatic pricing and packaging approach that aligns with business goals, market trends, and product positioning, leveraging leading-edge thinking on SaaS pricing models.Regularly analyze competitor pricing strategies, market trends, and customer buying behavior to identify opportunities and challenges.Drive pricing updates/refreshes based on analysis and market signals.Define pricing and packaging approach for new product enhancements and features ensuring highest value for customers and optimizing for growth/expansion.Drive a pricing and revenue framework for selling and distribution through partners/resellers.Own the deal desk and be the subject matter expert for large deal pricing plays and negotiation strategies.Drive thinking around ROI and value estimation to support account upsell and expansion strategies.Ensure governance and consistency around implementation of pricing and sales flexibility guidelines with regular report-outs on deal pricing and trends.Key Qualifications 7+ years of experience in pricing and monetization, specifically in SaaS/data subscription businesses. MBA strongly preferred.Proven track record of developing and executing successful monetization strategies in high-growth environments.Ability to drive innovation and identify new revenue opportunities.Depth of understanding of ecosystem creation and market expansion.Excellent problem-structuring and analytical skills, with deep understanding of pricing/monetization and leading-edge thinking on SaaS pricing models (subscription, usage-based, etc.).Experience driving pricing-oriented sales plays to win against competition and expand creatively in large accounts.Experience pricing and packaging for third-party partner and reseller programs.Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with excellent leadership and organization skills.Ability to influence and be a team player that rolls up their sleeves at the pace of a high-growth start-up.Strong communicator, creative thinker, and nimble executor.Why Truveta? The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
