onsemi's Vertical GaN fabrication facility in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Sr. Director of Site Operations to join the team. Our GaN technology enables the next generation of power conversion, accelerating the transition to high efficiency, high power conversion solutions and inspiring new power system architectures which are only possible with vertical GaN.
ResponsibilitiesSite leader of the fabrication facility.Responsible for all aspects of wafer fab operation: manufacturing, process engineering, process development, facilities, equipment, and quality (SPC, yield).Bring up and qualify facility and tools.Responsible to meet KPIs (cycle time, tool uptime, quality) and budget spend requirements.Build and develop the fab organization.QualificationsBachelors in electrical engineering or other engineering fields. Masters is desired.14+ years of experience in semiconductor fabrication with 5+ years' experience in similar job function.Experience in discrete power semiconductors or GaN is preferred.onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $172,700.00-$311,100.00 range exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
