The opportunityThe Senior Director, US Commercial Finance is the Finance Business Partner to the SVP Innovative Franchise Sales & Marketing and responsible for providing Financial Planning & Analysis support to the US business located in Parsippany, NJ.
The Senior Director will provide both strategic financial leadership and tactical oversight to ensure that the business meets its goals.
This role oversees all business planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and project evaluation.
In addition, the Senior Director is responsible for overseeing and developing the staff in the United States Commercial Finance function.
This position reports directly to the SVP/CFO for the US Commercial division.
Location: This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Parsippany, NJ office.
How you'll spend your dayFinance support for the business unit(s).
Key driver in business decisions by providing financial guidance and overall business support.
Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure that business goals are being met.Manage the preparation of the forecast and budget as well as responsible for assessing the financial results and actual versus forecasted/budgeted activity.
On a quarterly basis this includes completing corporate requirements such as the quarterly results memorandum and presentation to CEO.Partnering with Finance Directors in US and Global Business Planning teams.Participate in US Finance initiatives.Partner with accounting (shared services) on technical accounting issues and questions.
Develop and manage key performance indicators.Develop and mentor team members.Lead and support ad-hoc analysis on business opportunities as needed.Your experience and qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting OR MBA.Minimum of 12 years experience in finance roles within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in branded pharmaceuticals.CPA preferred.Experience with SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud preferred.Enjoy a more rewarding choiceWe offer a competitive benefits package, including:
