What You'll Do: As a Senior Electrical Engineer I, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, andtesting of electrical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvement.
Functions: Participate in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components, from concept to production, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, specifications, and standards.Use engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, models, simulations, and technical documentation for electrical circuits, components, and systems.Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to assess design concepts, identify technical challenges, and propose solutions or improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs and ensure seamless functionality.Perform prototype development, testing, and validation activities, including design verification, functional testing, and reliability testing, to ensure product performance and reliability.Analyze test data and results, using statistical methods and tools, to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement design modifications or enhancements.Support the transition of products from development to production, including design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) considerations, process optimization, and production ramp-up activities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, product development, or a related role.Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, theories, and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to solve technical problems and develop innovative solutions.Experience with engineering software and tools, such as CAD/CAM, simulation, and analysis software, and the ability to interpret and analyze complex engineering data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Preferred Skills Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Experience with embedded systems design, microcontroller programming, and firmware development. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to electrical systems and products. Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles. Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
