At Snowflake, the Sr. Event Technology Manager is an integral part of the Strategic Events team who will partner across the organization with internal teams within Marketing, such as Product, Industry and Partner Marketing, Sales, Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing as well as agencies to deliver best in class event execution for our customers and partners. This role will utilize exceptional project management skills to manage all event technology platforms from pre-event planning and production and post-event follow-up for Snowflake hosted events. This highly motivated and extremely organized candidate must have experience supporting a team that plans complex in-person events. This person will need to work effectively within a small team and operate strategically across the business.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Expertly drive weekly core team meetings, including workback plans and meeting notesBring a fun, creative, positive energy to work every dayTeam with internal and agency stakeholders as one team to build and deliver event technology solutions to support Registration, Housing, ERC, SRC, Scheduler, Apps and SurveysDrive the event Mobile App across this program and partner with internal stakeholders and agency leads till completionBe data driven when evaluating the effectiveness of eventsAbility to budget effectively and manage costs before, during and after the eventBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:8+ years experience architecting, delivering and executing registration platforms and event technology for 10,000+ person events8+ years' experience supporting teams delivering large scale first party events in B2BDay to day management of Registration Technology Vendors (Rainfocus)Strong communication skills, including presentation, written, and verbalCustomer service experience and demonstrating a solution-oriented approachProven success in executing multiple events at a time and using both internal and external resourcesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in-house at a large, highly visible technology companyExperience with Bizzabo, EventbaseMotivated self-starter with a bias for action and who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving businessExcellent project management skills, analytical ability, both creative and strategic thinkingExcels at cross-group collaboration, communication and problem solvingEffective written and verbal communicationEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $122,000 - $170,100.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
