Job summary Senior Associate - FIN APAC Controllership
To be part of accounting and controllership for APAC region and work matters relating to general ledger accounting, statutory reporting, and compliance matters. We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to support the finance activities for Japan region. He / She would be part of APAC regional controllership team and would be based out to Japan. The primary role of this position is to manage the finance activities for Japan.

Responsibilities (a) Compliance and reporting: Preparation and timely submission of all statutory reporting and filings.(b) Book close: work closely with offshore controllership team in India for the month close activities. Provide necessary information by coordinating with the Japan regional functional teams like Admin, HR, Recruitment, IT, etc.(c) Review the monthly financial statements.(d) Being the representative of Finance function supporting business teams and Japan associates by providing necessary guidance on the policies and procedures.(e) To support finance operations / Global shared service teams based in India viz. Accounts Payable, Travel and expense, Banking and Treasury, Tax, etc.(f) Provide Japanese language support as required by the other Cognizant teams.(g) Administrator for Amex card program for Japan associates. Certifications Required CA / ICWA / CMA
