The Role You will join our in-house creative marketing team and lead our visual brand elements and objectives including presentations, advertisements, proposals, exhibits, online presence, and more. This is a great role for someone with a solid understanding of design fundamentals looking to play a key role in a fast-growing PE-backed business. You will report to our Director of Marketing and be based either in New York City, Ridgewood, NJ, or Los Angeles, CA. Key responsibilities include:
Ensure all design materials adhere to Scale's brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality and creativityCreate unique and visually appealing graphics for digital and print mediaCollaborate with various internal teams to develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with our brand identity and goalsCreate branded templates for various departments, including PowerPoint presentations, report templates, and whitepaper templatesAssist with developing, shooting, and editing both photo and video contentManage multiple design projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional resultsThe Ideal Candidate 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer preferably in renewable energy or related industryStrong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projectsExpert proficiency with Adobe Creative SuiteFamiliarity with motion graphics, 3D, and video editing software is a plusKnowledge of HTML / CSS and web design principles is a plusExcellent communication, organization, and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAttention to detail and a passion for creativityBachelor's degree in a design or related field (e.g., graphic design, visual communications, marketing, etc.) or equivalent work experience.This is a great opportunity to have a long-term impact on a fast-paced, private equity backed growth business.
