The Sr. Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.
This role will conceptualize and produce impactful and compelling designs while maintaining brand integrity.
The Sr. Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in representing AutoNation and its offerings to our customers, ensuring consistency and impact across all Marketing channels.
The position will act as the primary creative designer and developer of marketing communications materials utilized by corporate, region and store teams. Organizational Relationships: The graphic designer will interact internally with the broader Brand Team, Marketing Channels, and other Corporate Department Leads.
Externally, the designer will engage with creative vendors and agencies utilized by the Marketing team.
Job Responsibilities: Concept and design creative/marketing materials, including but not limited to: flyers, ads, banners, emails, packaging, brochures, social images and graphics, etc.Develop illustrations, logos, graphics, animations, story boards, and more using the appropriate brand elements and layoutsCreate, edit, and optimize images using Photoshop and other design softwareAnalyze design briefs, determine requirements, and produce brand-compliant designsAdhere to Brand Operations Team SLAs and meet agreed-upon deadlinesCollaborate closely within the team and cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of creative work that aligns with business objectivesPrepare mockups and first drafts, test creative concepts across various media, incorporate feedback and present refined ideasMaster an understanding of AutoNation's brand platform, creative vision, brand guidelines, as well as OEM guidelines and compliance parametersProvide ongoing creative direction to external vendors and agenciesMaintain visual consistency across all channels and deliverablesConceptualize and effectively execute visual ideas from concept through to completionPerform any other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in design, Fine Arts or related field is preferred4 – 6 years of proven graphic design experienceA strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects, campaigns, illustrations, or other workProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud products including Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and InDesignTypography knowledgeComputer fluency in Mac and PCStrong understanding of browser capabilitiesStrong grasp of designing with brand style guidelinesProactive approach with keen attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCapable of managing multiple projects concurrentlyExcellent communication skills Next Possible Position: Graphic Design Manager Physical Requirements: Business travel (up to 30%)Standard office environment Exciting Benefits and Perks Await You:Competitive compensation and 401k matching
