Sr. HR Business Partner
in
Boston, MA.
*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.
The Sr HR Business Partner is a strategic partner to managers and coworkers and works to drive business results that are in line with the Boston Beer Company Mission, Vision, and Values. The Sr. HRBP will partner with BBC leaders to establish, lead and coordinate efforts which positively impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of talent as well as maintain the company's strong culture. As a business partner to a designated group of business functions, they focus on an integrated approach to the business that drives towards company results.
What You'll Brew:
Provide leadership to internal customers and within the broader People & Culture (P&C) Organization.
Establish strong and effective working relationships with internal and external customers to promote and support positive coworker relations, company culture and coworker engagement efforts.
Develop and lead execution of P&C programs that support departmental objectives. Programs should positively impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of talent as well as maintain the company's strong culture.
Drive and support all performance management, talent management, and talent development programs for internal customers.
Deliver comprehensive coworker relations support utilizing consulting, coaching, counseling, and influencing skills.
Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Assist coworkers and managers by handling P&C related questions, policy interpretation, and helping resolve coworker relations issues as needed.
Provide guidance on Company policies as outlined in the Coworker Handbook and in accordance with all BBC policies and procedures.
Create and facilitate training programs as necessary.
Help maintain an accurate and up to date Job Role library.
Recommend approaches, programs, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department/organization through strong understanding of organizational trends, best practices, data/analysis and business acumen skills.
Conduct exit interviews, share feedback, highlight trends.
Collaborate with leadership on opportunities or issues within the business and develop innovative solutions to address.
Recommend and identify critical roles and high potential coworkers within assigned business area.
Partner with Centers of Excellence to drive:
Organizational talent management and programs.
Compensation planning programs.
Diversity and Inclusion programs.
Standard office environment which includes desk, conference rooms, break rooms, etc.
Potential to be in an environment that is complex that necessitates high situational awareness.
Occasional travel may be required and is at the discretion of your manager based on the needs of your position (~25% of time to other company locations).
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
8+ years of experience as an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner.
Experience managing multiple and complex employee relations matters with strong investigation experience.
Ability to sit in front of a computer, tablet, etc. for an extended period of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate Degree.
Oracle HCM Experience.
Level: 5
In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $117,300 – $182,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
