This position would be part of the TPG Global IE team reporting the Sr. Manager of Budget and Planning. The TPG IE team handles supporting the Technology & Products Groups (TPG) department with thebudget capital and operating expenditures. Partnering globally with Engineering teams, Procurement, Finance, and TPG Senior Leaders is a primary expectation of this role in pursuit of supporting TPG's footprint.Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safety
Finishes the required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology & Products Group (TPG) safety policies
Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Reports all safety-related concerns or problems at once to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.)
Performs audits and submits good catches on safety issues
Communication/Collaboration
Partners closely with partners on a weekly basis (TPG Operations,MFG Budget teams,Process and Equipment Development, Finance and Procurement teams)
Coordinates and facilitates meetings on a regular basis
Provides regular status updates to senior TPG Leadership
Presents budgets (opex and capex) P2P and outputs, and guides workflow for TPG and MFG teams involved in Materials, Repair and Maintenance (R&M), and equipment budgeting.
Project Management/Planning
Designs and coordinates projects with several different departments
Builds timelines with milestones for sophisticated tasks and projects
Minimizes duplication through effective planning
Adjusts plans based on execution to milestones and factors in capabilities when setting plans
Technical/Data Analysis
Applies IE concepts and statistical analysis
Crafts innovative data solutions using IE knowledge to continually improve the strategic forecast
Evaluates what-if scenarios representing changes to metrics and partners with engineering to understand the impact of the changes
Uses experience and observations to build experiments to get to the root cause on issues
Analyzes and interprets internal and external data sources to suggest planning changes
Incorporates experience and observations to craft experiments to determine vital area changes
Develops methods for testing and tracking and measuring data
Drives action through effective data and clear communication
Successful Candidates must have the following Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience with preference of at least 5 years within TPG or MFG planning, budget or process functions.
Able to work in a hybrid work environment with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

Shown ability to communicate and present technical information effectively
Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
Advanced understanding of statistics
Advanced understanding of area tool configurations, capabilities, processes, and mechanical functionality
Advanced understanding of manufacturing science - scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning
Demonstrated skill at prioritizing area projects for engineering and production based on capacity and cycle time needs
Intermediate understanding of database management methods and techniques
Preferred skills in computer science (ex. SQL, python)
Intermediate problem-solver: understanding of data, good data intuition and data visualization skills
Experience or knowledge of data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansing
Education and Experience
Required: BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management (POM), equivalent degree, or relevant experience
Preferred: MS in an Engineering Field
Preferred: Demonstrated engineering internship
