Individuals within the Information Technology Analyst job family serve a vital function as the key liaison between business and technology stakeholders, forging business ideas and processes into concrete requirements to support business operations across the entire CommonSpirit Health enterprise. Senior Analysts have a mastery of supported processes/technologies for their assigned area of responsibility. Assignments will be large in scope and medium complexity. They maintain and support processes or technologies. Senior Analysts will work beyond the routine utilizing specialized knowledge and analysis of multiple variables.
Responsibilities Applies tools, techniques and processes to track and log activities that ensure operational efficiency for the day-to-day business functions of the department. Educate, encourage and teach users to comply with processes. Performs audits to check the accuracy of information and undertakes any necessary corrective action under direction. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies. Leads focused technical analysis discussions, delivers supporting artifacts and assists with conducting review sessions for necessary approvals. Responsible for completing all tasks and associated documentation within committed timeframes, and effectively communicating across teams and all levels of management. Assignments are mid to long-term projects, tasks and/or maintenance assignments. Supports projects, functions or teams in the development of project and/or operational methods for measurement. Identifies and prioritizes appropriate measures, scales, and targets. Designs reports and reporting formats as directed by leader(s). Works on one or more projects as a technical expert team member. Performs audits to check the accuracy of information and undertakes any necessary corrective action under direction. Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures and uses software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Supports projects, functions or teams in the development of project and/or operational methods for measurement. Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, Business discipline or equivalent experience. Requires 5 or more years of experience as a business, data, or technical analyst. Prefer experience in a healthcare or hospital/medical related industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization. knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network).
