About The Role & Team Embark on an exciting journey with Amplitude as a Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A! We seek an individual passionate about data and analytics who can use it to drive impactful action through insight generation. Collaborating closely with our executive team, including our CEO, CFO, CRO, and various other leaders, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our company strategy, assessing efficient capital allocation, and delivering timely and actionable insights.
The projects and initiatives that you will help lead: Own the 5-year Long Range Plan, the Annual Budget process, and the rolling forecast for the companyDevelop a good cadence to update and mature our market share analysis, competitive analysis, and strategic plansProvide deep insights into "source of truth" topline KPIs and trends, driving automation and consistency in revenue and metric reporting in TableauPartner with sales finance to analyze revenue-to-expense ratios to optimize resource allocation and improve sales efficiencyDrive maturity in business rhythms, such as weekly executive leadership team reporting, monthly budget locks, quarterly basis to guide etc…Implement and manage scalable policies and processes that optimize the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, business operations, and external metric reportingAct as a Strategic Advisor and trusted finance partner, building strong, collaborative relationships with executive business partners and key stakeholders in the broader finance and accounting organizationsYou'll be a great addition to the team if you have/are: Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field7+ years of experience in strategic finance, financial planning & analysis, or related roles, preferably within SaaS or technology companies or fast-paced start-upsSelf-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervisionStrong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills, coupled with proficiency in SaaS metrics, financial systems, and toolsRigorous and detail-oriented with the highest regard for accuracy and completenessOutstanding communication skills with an ability to convey complex financial concepts to a diverse audiencePreferred Qualifications: MBA or advanced finance degree preferredSQL and Tableau experience is a plusWho We Are The Company: Amplitude is filled with humble, life-long learners who are eager to help one another and the company succeed.
