HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT: Partner with supply chain leadership to manage and execute comprehensive network and distribution center optimization projects that align with overall business strategy and respond to evolving business needs. Oversee the analysis of distribution centers, transportation networks, systems across various scenarios. Coordinate cross-functional teams to evaluate service/cost tradeoffs, using these insights to guide informed decision-making and strategic alignment across the leadership team.
This role typically reports into VP/General Manager, has 0 direct reports (if applicable) and is based in our Braselton office in our on-site work environment.
Project Management and Oversight - 40% Manage supply chain projects and initiatives focused on warehouse technology platforms, automation, and continuous improvement, lead project teams.Assist leadership teams in managing projects targeting CPU, UPH, and capital investment.Utilize feedback and benchmarking processes to identify continuous improvement projects.Partner with business leaders to balance demand and LRP forecasts to optimize supply chain efficiencies.Drive initiatives through analyzing long range supply chain needs that support business requirements by optimizing existing DC assets, automation, and process improvement.Research and recommend controls and automation platform solutions - manage external partnerships as needed.Engage outside resources, like universities and industry organizations, to stay abreast of emerging supply chain trends, solutions, and technologies.May work on special projects or other duties as assigned such supporting transportation or service provider negotiations.May be called upon to lead a team of analysts, engineers, or project managers.Data Analytics and Reporting - 40% Build data collection and analytics capabilities to uncover operational, service level, or capacity insights and highlight risks.Engage business leaders and planning teams to ensure annual peak plans optimize costs while balancing capacity and service levels.Support supply chain leaders in developing cause/effect and root cause identification of distribution cost drivers.Develop and manage distribution network reporting in support of end-to-end visibility initiatives.SC Network and DC Strategy - 20% Support supply chain and business leaders in key initiatives and change cycles through the establishment and review of processes in the distribution network and related facilities.Develop, implement, and action the distribution network roadmap.Develop and maintain 3PL engagements and ensure partners are integrated into the overall network strategy and needs.WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF: Must have: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Finance, or related fields; advanced degree a plus.Demonstrated success in leading DC Operations and engineering, minimum 5 years' experience in project management, continuous improvement and strategic initiatives end-to-end.Leader in project management, including stakeholder coordination, timeline management, and effective meeting facilitation.Demonstrated achievement of results, including savings generation, improvements to consumer service levels and providing options to achieve desired outcome.Embraces fact-based decision making; naturally seeks to leverage and/or integrate internal and external data and cost modeling.Preferred skills and experience:
