We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing who will drive the in-platform (social, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) paid media strategy and be responsible for the optimization and overall campaign management. This role requires strong platform knowledge and hands-on experience to develop strategic and creative recommendations, flawless execution of initiatives to reach brand objectives, confidence to debate budget allocations across the paid media team and when presenting to key groups, a collaborative spirit to coordinate across departments/business units and a mindset of continuous improvement through testing and learning to ensure continued growth across the company.
This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Job DescriptionAct as subject matter expert for our social and YouTube paid media strategy and executionPartner with our Marketing Team to understand underlying business objectives and set media KPIsContribute to brainstorming and cross-department planningDetermine budgets, targeting, timing, and other elements of digital campaign planningDevelop and manage digital marketing plans for paid social platforms and YouTubePresent plans to internal constituents and the Marketing TeamManage timelines for planning and coordinate with Marketing, Project Management, and Creative for asset deliveryCommunicate any needs with Ad Ops or other specialists (for tagging, optimization set up)Ensure best practices when building and testing campaignsOptimize campaigns and test strategies to drive performance and learningsAnalyze and report on campaign resultsTrack all spending and validate media partner invoicesProblem solve with our media vendor platformsKeep the team abreast of changes to social platform offerings and functionality, with a strong eye to how they impact paid/amplification opportunitiesProactively research the latest digital trends that affect digital marketing, attend industry seminarsActively contribute to the development of the agency's culture and standards of qualityQualificationsProven understanding of how to plan, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns using social platforms, YouTube, and LinkedInActive usage and native understanding of the mentioned digital platformsStrong understanding of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads (video and search) and social media management platforms like HootsuiteExperience with campaigns builds on other platforms, such as Pinterest, TikTok, Snap, and LinkedInExperience with GA/GTM for campaign optimization/trackingPast experience with testing/measurement on the platformsData analysis and Excel proficiency a mustExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with demonstrable ability to articulate and persuasively sell strategic concepts within the agency and directly to clientsKnowledge of organic platforms, especially as they relate to paid amplificationDependability, flexibility and resourcefulnessSense of ownership and responsibility for your brandsDedication to the detailsPassion for continued learning and improvementHands-on experience with GTM and Google Analytics a plusUnderstanding of community management/social listening and aligned tools (e.g. Talkwalker) a plusFacebook Blueprint and other social certifications a plusKnowledge of SEM/SEO and Email a plusBachelor's degree with a focus on Marketing, Communications or BusinessPay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
