**About this role**
Lead the charge in revolutionizing comfort experiences through connected technology. Carrier, the global leader in healthy, safe, and sustainable building solutions, seeks a visionary leader to join our HVAC Americas Digital Technology team. This impactful role will see you collaborate with leadership in driving digital technology capabilities through innovation and exceeding customer expectations for our Commercial HVAC Applied business.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Digital Technology Lead is the liaison between Technology and business. The Digital Lead has significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both Technology and business. He/she is responsible for understanding the business, identifying their needs and envisaging business solutions.
The Digital Lead will assist in the prioritization of projects; ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and direct DT strategy in support of the overall business strategy.
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills / interpersonal skills: facilitating executive engagement sessions, bringing a thoughtful intersection between technology and business capabilities.
+ Able to influence and engender collaboration in both Business and Digital,
+ Broad subject matter expertiseacross the Commercial HVAC Business processes,
+ Good understanding of the use of information technology in a strategic roadmap.
+ Good project management skills,
+ Ability to express complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner but also to effectively translate business needs to the technology teams.
+ Numerate and logical in approach to work,
+ Attention to detail and excellent analytic skills,
+ Well organized and able to work on own initiative: organized, able to prioritize effectively,
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree
+ 5 years of IT management and leadership experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
+ Masters Degree
+ 3 years of IT management and leadership experience
