Sr. Manager Sourcing Location Huntersville, NC : Lead a team responsible for management of Category _38_ New Product procurement supporting multiple brands within the Commercial Business of Newell Brands• Home and Commercial Segment. The role would be focused on development of procurement strategy, productivity delivery, supplier innovation development, and participation in cross-functional new product development teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for sourcing strategy development and implementation across multiple sub-categories with annual global spend responsibility ranging from $120 - $150M. Manage and engage sub-category team members driving engagement and an attitude of continuous improvement _38_ growth. Partner with regional procurement team members to enable efficient project execution and communication. Manage and drive continuous improvement metrics such as cost productivity, working capital, geographic supply diversification, and single source reliance. Key contributor to drive supplier innovation ideas and efficient partnership with cross-functional team members to support a new product development product pipeline. Support procurement partners to drive supply base compliance _38_ improvements in social responsibility, sustainability, on-time delivery, and lead time responsiveness. Represent procurement as a key stakeholder to cross-functional peers from groups inclusive of R_38_D, quality, brand marketing, supply chain, and finance. Job Requirements: 8+ years of sourcing experience or demonstrated performance managing comparable scope of responsibility. Requires a Bachelor•s degree in a business, engineering or related field. Demonstrated track record of leading teams and delivering results against performance metrics. Strong project management skills and experience. Global sourcing experience in consumer products preferred. Must have good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Must be highly motivated and able to drive results independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.
