Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing to join our team. This role will focus on developing and implementing sourcing strategies for critical components such as PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), injection molding, and/or contract manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the medical device and diagnostics sector.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement of PCBA, injection molding, and contract manufacturing services.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality, compliance, and cost requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and quality assurance, to align sourcing strategies with product development goals.Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to make informed sourcing decisions and mitigate risks.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, fostering strong relationships with key suppliers to drive cost savings and efficiency.Monitor supplier performance through metrics and KPIs, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.6-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing within the medical device or diagnostics industry, with a strong focus on PCBA, injection molding, and contract manufacturing.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sourcing strategies that drive cost reduction and improve supply chain performance.Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medical device industry.
