You'll also enjoy a generous paid time off package that includes not only vacation and sick time, but also Wellness and Volunteer Time Off days.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the Complex project portfolio to ensure successful project delivery across a wide range of technologies and project size types.Manages team of project managers and coordinators providing guidance, support and administers employee policies and procedures related to time management, performance management, compensation, and staff development.Partners with HR on recruitment of senior-level project managers capable of leading large, complex, or global projects for large/strategic customersRegularly monitors the project health and risk profiles for all active projects across the Complex project portfolio to ensure successful delivery.Interacts regularly with the management of Velocity projects to review new projects submitted via the project take process to ensure projects are assigned to the correct team.
Regularly discusses team capacity, project assignments, and resource requirements.Develops and becomes responsible for maintaining and updating the enhanced project management lifecycle (ePMLC) required for managing large, complex projects.
Identifies and develops strategic relationships with stakeholders (pre-Sales, POD, COE) outside the PMO as required for delivery of large, complex projects.
Creates and updates enhanced project management lifecycle (ePMLC) project management artifacts and SOPs as required.Develops and becomes responsible for maintaining, updating, and executing the enhanced project management lifecycle (ePMLC) governance model.Develops and becomes responsible for maintaining and updating the program management lifecycle (PgMLC) required for managing programs.
Identifies and develops strategic relationships with stakeholders (pre-Sales, POD, COE) outside the PMO as required for delivery of programs.
Creates and updates program management lifecycle (PgMLC) program management artifacts and SOPs as required.Develops and becomes responsible for maintaining, updating, and executing the program management lifecycle (PgMLC) governance model.Continually identifies and implements improvements with the enhanced project management lifecycle (ePMLC) and small project templates/processes and associated governance models.Creates and communicates team status reports.Works with operations teams to ensure procedures are in place to effectively complete projects.Develops PM training programs to ensure senior-level project management knowledge is maintained/enhanced.Regularly meets with Project Management team to discuss career path/growth and incentive satisfaction to review with the Sr. Director, TSX PMO to ensure key senior-level project managers are retained.Leads PMO initiatives as required.Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned, including additional tasks to assist with managing Connection staff, resources, and solution offerings.RequirementsAt least five (7) years of experience working in the IT Professional Services industry.Previous experience with a managed services provider PMO.Previous experience creating RFP responses/delivering RFP Presentations to potential customers.Competency with Planview project management platform or a similar platform.Working knowledge of and demonstrated experience with managing and developing a team of project management professionals.Demonstrated experience with project financial management.Demonstrated experience leading large projects/programs.Ability to provide time management skills, organization skills, and customer service skills mentoring and support.Self-motivated, capable of delivering multiple initiatives simultaneously.Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to execute professional presentations.Excellent written communication skills with ability to compose professional business communications via email, letter, and proposals.Certifications, Licenses or Registrations required, if any:PMI, PMP, ITILYears of experience: 12-15 years.MinUSD $135,000.00/Yr.MaxUSD $172,000.00/Yr.SummaryIndustry: Information Technology and ServicesJob Family: Technology Solutions and Sales SupportLevel: Full Time
