Job DescriptionPosition's Goal & Summary: The Sr Mgr, Corporate Development Finance, drives finance for Corporate Development initiatives from Business Development and Venture Capital. They support Senior Executives in strategic investments across the business.
Roles and Responsibilities: Evaluate growth opportunities for Intuitive. Support the Sr. Director, Corporate Development & Digital Finance.Research markets, technologies and organizations to assess strategic fit and financial value.Operate as a player coach while managing a team of managers and analysts who support our Corporate Development initiatives.Partner with Business Unit managers and deal teams on key diligence areas that impact valuation and transaction structure for M&A and VC deals.Deliver financial models and valuation analyses for BD and venture capital investments, including acquisitions, licenses, equity investments, joint ventures, and partnerships.Coordinate strategic investments with Business Unit managers, BD teams, and the finance organization.Support our Venture Capital team by partnering on investment diligence. Help develop investment models, including follow-on forecasts, valuations, liquidation waterfalls, exit projections, and return analyses. Assist with portfolio and capital allocation models.Develop board-level presentation materials in support of strategic investments.Track and report return on investments made in external organizations.
