Job Title: Principal/Senior Geologist
Salary: Pay is flexible depending on experience, upwards of 200k.
Work Environment: 75% in office, 25% onsite for a Geotechnical Engineering and consulting company that services Geotechnical, geology, groundwater, environmental sciences, and soils.
Clients: Work includes projects for K-12, Universities, and Hospitals, serving both public agencies and private sector clients in transportation, water/wastewater, educational, residential, commercial, and other market segments.
Qualifications: CEG required or PG on the way to obtaining CEG.
Responsibilities: Apply geologic and environmental knowledge and practices.Make important decisions and represent the organization in conferences.Supervise, plan, coordinate, and direct large and small projects with complex features.Track project budgets and schedules, and submit technically accurate deliverables.Maintain existing clients and develop new business.Train and supervise subordinate personnel.Support, grow, and develop the regional Converse Southern California Environmental operations.Perform conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment.Generate proposals, schedule environmental site assessments, manage hazardous materials, and collect samples.Prepare reports and perform other necessary activities.Reporting Structure/Limits of Authority and Responsibility: Consult with supervisor concerning problems and developments.Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.Additional Information: Night and weekend work, and travel may be required.Regional support of all Southern California Environmental operations.We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced geologist who can make decisions, lead projects, manage budgets and schedules, and supervise subordinate personnel.
