About : Addison Group is thrilled to facilitate the search for a Senior Payroll Analyst at a premier medical device manufacturer located in Edina, MN. This company is on the lookout for a seasoned professional to strengthen their established team. The Senior Payroll Analyst will be instrumental in managing all aspects of payroll operations across the US. Principal duties involve processing bi-weekly payroll at multiple US locations—with proficiency in Canadian payroll operations being a substantial plus. The role also encompasses the support and management of system integrations, including Payroll, HRIS, and Time & Attendance Systems.
Required Skills: · Extensive experience with ADP systems. All Variations accepted.
· Proficient in full-cycle payroll processing, with a focus on analysis and resolution of discrepancies.
· Adept at critically evaluating and enhancing payroll and HRIS procedures.
· Bachelor's degree required, CPP Preferred but not required
Responsibilities: · Administer and oversee the functioning of Payroll, HRIS, and Time & Attendance systems, including ADP EV6, ADP Workforce Manager, and Workday.
· Ensure continuous performance and accuracy of systems to align with company goals, needs, and standards.
· Handle the processing of bi-weekly payroll for 300-400 U.S. employees, including minimal Canadian operations.
· Conduct thorough examinations of payroll and HRIS operations to optimize processes.
· Direct the progression and improvement of systems through upgrades and the integration of new functionalities.
· Lead and manage projects related to human resources systems, encompassing system configurations, modifications, and enhancements.
· Address payroll discrepancies according to established policies and maintain compliance with all regulations.
· Collaborate with team members to prioritize technological initiatives and strategic planning.
· Monitor and enhance operational processes to ensure they meet client expectations and function efficiently.
· Perform audits of internal systems to verify data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
· Analyze and improve workflow designs and processes.
· Coordinate data exchanges between vendors and various systems.
· Develop and manage reporting systems for business analytics, ensuring regular and ad-hoc reports are accurate and timely.
· Produce and update training materials and conduct training sessions for system users.
· Provide daily operational support by resolving HRIS issues and acting as the primary escalation point for the Payroll/HRIS team.
· Maintain system security and data privacy to meet compliance standards.
· Keep abreast of the latest trends and updates in technology and service offerings to enhance system efficiency and best practices.
· Act as a backup for other payroll roles and undertake additional projects as required.
Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources, or equivalent professional experience.
· A minimum of 7 years of payroll experience in a complex multi-state or international setting.
· Specialized training in HRIS, Payroll, and Timekeeping systems.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
· Experience in mentoring and training team members.
· Comprehensive knowledge of payroll practices, accounting, and HR operations within both manufacturing and service sectors.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Flexibility to work additional hours during critical payroll periods and at year-end.
· Experience with system migrations is considered advantageous.
