The Advanced Networking Systems Operating Unit (ANS OU) of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Sr Principal Logistics Management Analyst based out of San Diego, CA.
Job Description: As the Sr Logistics Management Analyst, you will be the Point-of-Contact (POC) for all program material management and government property efforts. Typical roles and responsibilities include:
Offer technical support across the program and integrate technical knowledge to continuously improve competitive position
Liaison with engineering staff to ensure best practice and share expertise
Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements
Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives
Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes such as replenishment, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions
Other roles assigned
Basic Qualifications: 8 years experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 6 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a PhD; may consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Practical hands-on experience performing logistics and technical support
Proficient knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other government property systems
Familiarity with understanding logistics documentation, e.g. Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP)
Experience working with SAP, S3, and other relevant databases
Prior technical and inventory management experience
Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook)
Experience supporting program property audits
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with property accountability on government defense contracts
Experience with prior DoD field work
Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
Excellent analytical ability, researching skills, and capacity for planning ahead
Previous experience supporting a government or DOD customer
Previous experience supporting program proposals and constructing BOEs
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $103,200 - $154,800
