The Canada Softlines team works with Apparel, Shoes, Luggage, and Accessories brands to provide our customers with a broad range of fashion selection at sharp prices with fast delivery speeds. Due to the seasonal element of fashion and an ever-changing catalog with new colors and product styles, our supply chain team often purchases inventory 6-8 months in advance to cater to make-to-order seasonal selection. This buying process is highly complex as it involves having a high bar on forecasting, financial tenets, and inventory coverage to ensure our customers have the products available throughout the season while preventing overstock. We are looking for a curious, self-driven, and passionate Product Manager to join the team. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain teams, Vendor Managers, Finance, and other key stakeholders to determine requirements and execute the vision for a suite of tools to support and automate the buying and planning process for Softlines. They will be responsible for determining opportunity size of key enhancements, prioritizing across initiatives, managing the project roadmap, and overseeing launch and training to the end users.
What you will be doing:You will map out existing processes, find automation opportunities, and revamp the buying strategy in a scalable way that will support rapid growth as well as our long-term business strategy.You will own the overall product and program roadmap driving key initiatives to be implemented by relevant retail, supply chain, and cross-country teams for improving buying for Softlines.You will influence the vendor management, supply chain, and product management teams within Amazon to deliver on your shared goals. A successful candidate possesses superb business judgment, instock, supply chain, or operations management experience, strong skills in working collaboratively and cross-functionally, and a track record of delivering results.
