Sr. Product Manager

A principal goal for the Senior Product Manager is to drive the product roadmap, develop marketing and product requirements and value proposition, work with engineering to incorporate into engineering planning and manage product lifecycle. Create materials and collateral needed to communicate the capabilities of product, including competitive positioning, brochures, presentations and white papers. Responsibilities will span to all product initiatives for Brainchip AI solutions that include delivery of intellectual property, proprietary neural network models and developer software and hardware, including silicon devices, evaluation kits and development boxes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ownership of the product lifecycle process from concept to end of life for the product portfolio, including the timely preparation and presentation product requirements, approval gates and key product decisions.Utilize an Agile process for working with engineering on driving features for neural models, development software and hardware platforms.Partner with business development and technical colleagues to explore product choices that best serve BrainChip in financial success.Develop and optimize a business case for each initiative considering customer opportunities, technology and market trends, ecosystem partners and their inflection points, product differentiation and define the best chance for success.Refine, quantify, and articulate the key value propositions of our products.Support the product development process as the key product owner - providing product targets, priority guidance, and resolving trade-off decisions.Evaluate business opportunities to partner with external technology providers to enhance the product portfolio.Participate in standardization efforts that will inform product strategy.QUALIFICATIONS:To be successful, an individual must have a unique combination of technical, entrepreneurial, marketing and people skills. Operating in a less unstructured start-up environment, the individual must be able to address a broad range of strategic, managerial, routine and detailed tasks working with the CEO to the design engineer. Working in a company leading in AI, rapid market changes, on the job learning and discovery is required as many new concepts, designs and approaches are being utilized and productized to the market for the first time. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. MBA or alternative master's degree in management.3-5 years of experience in AI IP for semiconductor technology, including both technical and business roles.Understanding of Edge AI/ML infrastructure, and enterprise markets and ecosystem.5-10 years of experience in product management roles, working with cross-functional teams across geographies.Deep knowledge of the latest neural network models and relevant industry consortia specifications.The position requires a keen focus on Edge AI market trends, customer needs, application architectures, and technology trends.Understanding semiconductor AI technologies and help analyze product choices and tradeoffs.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proven track record of developing product go-to-market strategies.Other Skills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to compose routine reports and correspondence.Ability to effectively communicate with people of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.Create processes for successful product development with extended team.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and analytical skills.Use of SaaS and AI tools to automate functions.Use of Agile engineering and planning tools.Desire to be involved in a diverse and creative work environment.Be a self-starter with a mindset for growth and real passion for continuous learning.
