Timehub is looking for a Sr Product Manager - Tech to own the partnership with internal business leaders and drive product strategy to meet localized needs.
You will own launching a user-facing product to Amazonians across all lines of business and all countries to manage their time, attendance, and pay. You will partner with HR and Business teams to identify needs and solutions, and work with Engineering and User Experience (UX) teams to both launch existing functions to new populations, and build new functionality. Drive the long-term vision through development of vision documents (PRFAQs), definition of business requirements, launch and post-launch measurement. You will also serve as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests and implement scalable solutions.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will possess a strong product management background and will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
As a Sr PMT, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, perform detailed data analyses, and influence the engineering decisions. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilitiesCreate product strategy and roadmaps for the countries owned.Deep dive customer needs and pain points in relation to Time and design optimal solutions.Gather Business Requirements and partner with Technology Teams to deliver customer solutions for Time related needs.Partner with customer and stakeholders to simplify policies through standardization.Own the ongoing communication and performance of products launched; create scorecards related to the product areas owned.Own org level business review documents; vision documents (PRFAQs).Collaborate with cross-platform products for integrations and identifying dependencies.Partnering with software development, design, and key partner teams to deliver on product vision and roadmap.Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.3+ years of team management experience.Bachelor's degree.Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.Experience with end-to-end product delivery.Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in software development.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
