Job Summary As a BI and Data Engineering Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our data-driven initiatives.
Your role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, defining product vision, and ensuring the successful delivery of BI and data engineering projects.
The Product Owner will also be responsible for managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
This position must report to either the SHI Somerset, NJ, or Austin, TX, office locations as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for BI and data engineering solutions Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and objectives Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable features Work closely with the development team to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly Conduct regular reviews and demos with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that the product meets their needs Monitor and report on the progress of BI and data engineering projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the successful delivery of BI and data engineering solutions Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI, data engineering, and data analytics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 7 years as a Product Owner or similar role in BI or data engineering Strong understanding of BI tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and data warehousing Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment is a plus Experience with data lakes and cloud-based BI and data engineering solutions, such as Azure Required Skills Experience with data modeling and ETL processes Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data engineering solutions, such as Azure or AWS Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions Unique Requirements CSPO certification is preferred but not required Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000.
The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
