Job Summary
As a Product Owner for the Workday program, you will work hand in hand with HR stakeholders, business partners, and the IT team to lead the development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of a Workday solution that meets both user needs and business objectives.
You will work to write user stories to support the business process configuration and the integration .
This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX or SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to: Contribute to the product vision for Workday and other HR functional areas to define, recommend, prioritize, and implement solutions aligning with strategic goals.
Work closely with stakeholders and internal technology partners to architect technology solutions based on industry best practices needed to drive business alignment.
Collaborate with Business Product Owners to create technical user stories based on business-defined features that align with Workday configuration.
Participate in all phases of the Workday implementation, including requirements gathering, design, build, test, cutover, and hypercare.
Continue to provide technical support in post-production for enhancements and regular Workday releases.
Work closely with the scrum master to ensure delivery of the prioritized backlog.
Work closely with developers to ensure acceptance criteria are met and business value realized.
Create and maintain product and release requirements backlog.
Work with HR counterparts to negotiate and prioritize enhancements rolled out to the organization.
Coordinate and lead testing efforts while contributing to the employee experience with end-user focus, collaboration, and transparency.
Facilitate demos for stakeholders to get feedback on developed solutions.
Participate in Product Refinement sessions with the development teams.
Manage Workday releases, identifying impacts to the current configuration and coordinating any required testing to minimize the solution's adverse effects.
Work with technical resources to maintain platform health, explore continuous improvement options, and assist with troubleshooting/resolving escalated product issues.
Align business priorities and make trade-off decisions across multiple collaborator concerns.
Balance priorities between strategic new development and ongoing production support.
Establish project management discipline and governance processes to support initiatives end to end, from project planning through testing to delivery, to ensure a successful end-user experience for all new deployments and ongoing maintenance of Workday and integrations.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with Payroll and Learning & Development business teams.
Recognize available options and select the appropriate course of action to continuously improve solutions and delivery processes with the highest business value.
Proactively identify, resolve, or bring up issues, concerns, and impediments to get the project developed with efficiency and maximum effectiveness Act as the conduit between Technology and business partners to keep the project moving Qualifications5+ years experience as an HRIS Product Owner or Business Analyst 3+ years of Workday HCM experience; Workday certification in one or more modules is a plus Global experience with iCIMS, Docebo, ADP, and other Human Resource vendors is highly desirable.
Experience with Product Roadmap development and influencing key collaborators for consensus on business priorities.
Ability to facilitate complex discussions.
Experience in leading teams using hybrid, agile methodologies.
Project Management experience with a focus on design, facilitating development, testing, and delivery.
Required SkillsWorkday Human Capital Management, Workday Reporting & Analytics Prior experience writing user stories for integration with third-party payroll and talent acquisition providers (iCIMS and ADP) will be considered.
Hands-on experience managing work efforts with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or Asana is preferred.
Ability to translate client requirements to technical requirements.

The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
