Summary As a Sr Programmer Analyst (UNIX/C/SQL) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities.

Your role in our mission Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients' objectives in important areas.
Work with the Client and our Business Analysts to design applications Take requirements and code solutions that meet the documented requirements Monitor applications and respond to system problems and abends as needed Applies growing technical knowledge to maintain a technology area (e.g.
Web- site Development).
Applies company and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate complexity.
Configures account level or enterprise systems designed by more senior technologists.
What we're looking for 6 years of applications development and batch programming with UNIX/LINUX/C Healthcare, Medicaid and claims systems experience is preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of SQL and Oracle, testing tools and test scripting.
Experience using an Integrated Dev Environment (Azure, Visual Studio ).
Basic understanding of modern SCM, modern software design and development methodologies (Object Oriented).
What you should expect in this role Must live in the Atlanta, GA area - will telecommute/work from home in Georgia.
Some onsite may be required in the future.
Will work onsite first week of work for training Will consider out of state candidates that are able to relocate to Georgia - relocation assistance/bonus is not available.
