Job Summary Seeking Sr Project Controls Analyst for a field planner role on a transformational project. Responsibilities include planning/scheduling, leading project forecasts, and ensuring constructability in planning. Requires expertise in Primavera, construction planning, scheduling, and construction management, with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Job Description This is a Field Planner role on the client side of a transformational project which includes the retirement of the existing coal-fueled units; installation of new natural gas-fueled electricity generating units capable of utilizing hydrogen for 840 megawatts net generation output; and modernization of a Transmission System to Southern California. This role is specific to the substation and converter station portion of the project which will be located in Adelanto, California. Senior level planning/scheduling position competently performs all aspects of planning/scheduling and field project assignments according to training, capability, and experience. Provides some guidance to less experienced project personnel. Acts in capacity of a lead person. Demonstrates the capability of leading the project control function of a project and able to influence internal and external clients. Lead facilitator of project forecasts. Recognizes issues and advises project team on matters affecting project execution. Leads project controls scheduling efforts in plan and schedule preparation. Ensures constructability is part of planning process. Applies in key cost control processes. Ensures systems are in place to know work status and identify issues proactively. Interfaces with management team to identify issues. Skills Required Construction Planning Primavera Scheduling Forecasts Construction Management Substation Four-year Bachelor's degree with six or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning and Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with eight years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office. Education/Training/Certifications Four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, preferred.
