Responsibilities for Senior level Mechanical Engineer: Able to communicate directly with clients.Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environment.Perform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design work.Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software).Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.Ensure project timelines are met and project stays within budget.Able to travel to project sites.Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.10+ years (min) of experience working for a design engineering firm including some Mission Critical (data center) design experience.Firm grasp of engineering concepts including theoretical and practical applications for HVAC Systems.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs.Knowledge and familiarity in use of mechanical engineering software such as but not limited to heat loss/gain calcs, pipe-flo, CFD modeling, etc.Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to junior staff for project development.Must be self-motivated and know project design steps/requirements.Equal Opportunity Employer Equality, diversity, and inclusion is at the heart of what we do.
