Senior Project Manager II Job Summary The Senior Project Manager II is responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of complex projects across multiple teams and departments. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Project Management: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. Conduct regular project status reviews and provide updates to stakeholders. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance and support to team members. Manage project resources and allocate tasks appropriately. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, clients, and team members. Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Address stakeholder concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of project management experience in a complex environment, preferably in healthcare. 2+ years of experience managing project teams. PMP certification preferred. Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira). Additional Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience with healthcare financial services, clinical operations, supply chain, or information systems.
