Sr. Proposal Manager

Position Summary:
This individual will be responsible for leading proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives.
It requires customer interaction and coordination across a mutli-department team.
The range of the Sr. Proposal Manager encompasses a full breadth of TEi product lines including Condenser, Feedwater Heaters, Moisture Separator Reheaters, Industrial Coolers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Power & Process and Specialty Heat Exchangers.
The Sr. Proposal Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of proposal strategies to maximize opportunities, close sales and handover projects in a timely and efficient manner maximizing the ability for the execution team to meet the overall project objectives, margins, and deliverables.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Assists in managing and directing proposal effort and personnel
•Assists in the development and maintenance of proposal tools and processes
•Reviews customer specifications and identifies pertinent commercial items
•Develops/reviews proposal estimates and schedules
•Evaluates and minimizes risk in accordance with company standards
•Ensures proposal is compliant with RFP and other source documents
•Modifies proposal in response to amendments, changes and management insight
•Conforms contracts by negotiating final open items

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
•Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college is preferred
•5+ years of sales experience
•Experience working in Oil & Gas and/or Energy/Power Industry required
•Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
•PMP certification is preferred
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
