Function: Research & Development Job Title: Sr. Research Associate/Associate Scientist, iPSC-differentiation Job Location: Boston At QLD Biotherapeutics, we develop cell and gene therapies using innovative technologies to treat devastating diseases. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join our Oncology Cellular Therapy Group to advance our efforts in induced-pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived immune cell therapies. The successful candidate will be working on novel iPSC-NK/T/Somatic differentiation platform to support best-in-class cell therapy development. This position provides an excellent learning and growth opportunity, to work closely with an experienced drug discovery and development team and contribute to early stages of research and development activities in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. Primary Responsibilities · Perform routine iPSC culture, banking and characterization using flow or molecular based assays in an aseptic environment. · Perform routine iPSC engineering using CRISPR technology, single cell clone selection, screening and characterization. · Assist in novel iPSC differentiation platform development and optimization in a team setting. · Assist in characterizing iPSC derived immune cell or somatic cell functional assays. · Analyze and interpret data and be responsible for timely and effective communication of results to the project teams. · Adhere to project timeline, ensure data accuracy and integrity. · Assist in preclinical document preparation and patent application, including, but not limited to study protocols, and study reports to support IND filling. · Works collaboratively within internal cross-function teams and external CRO/academic institutes. · Adhere to the appropriate SOP and GxP guidelines, and embrace a collaborative culture. Qualification: · Bachelor/Master in developmental biology, immunology, cell biology, or related fields. Industry experience is highly desirable. · Experience in aseptic iPSC culture is a must. Experience with immune cell or primary culture is a plus. · Experience with flow cytometry and molecular techniques is preferred. Experience in CRISPR engineering and cellular functional assay is a plus. · Excellent organizational and time management skills and must be a self-starter with the ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
